Nayyera Haq is the founder and CEO of Avicenna Strategy, a consulting firm guiding non-profits on cross-cultural engagement and international growth. Ms. Haq had broad experience connecting communities across political and social divides, which guides her commentary on television and as a talk radio host on SiriusXM. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Ms. Haq served as a Senior Advisor and Foreign Language Spokesperson at the State Department and a Senior Director of Cabinet Affairs in the White House. Before her time serving the executive branch, she was the National Spokesperson for the Children’s Defense Fund, Director of Communications for Congressman John Salazar, and Media Advisor for Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi.
