Kristina Biyad is Foreign Policy for America’s Outreach Associate. Prior to joining FP4A, Kristina worked as the Program Specialist for the Bridging the Gap Project (BTG) supporting international relations scholars and the broader foreign policy community in developing policy-relevant academic research on international politics. She previously served as the Communications and Development Officer for the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) focusing on issues of gender-based violence and Sextortion in North Africa. In this position, Kristina developed the organization's communications, fundraising, and member retention policies. She has also held positions with the Advocacy Team for Share Our Strength No Kid Hungry and the Foreign and Security Policy Group at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the British Embassy.

Kristina earned an M.A. in International Affairs at the American University School of International Service, where she also served as the SIS Graduate Student Council President and as a member of the SIS Graduate Studies Committee. With this experience, Kristina was awarded with Outstanding Service to the Campus Community in May 2018. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and B.A. in Economics from Roger Williams University.
