Foreign Policy for America Passes $1M Fundraising Milestone

Washington, DC – This week, Foreign Policy for America passed an important milestone by raising over $1 million for our endorsed 2020 candidates. With three months to go until November 3rd, our members across the country are working around the clock to help elect champions for principled American engagement in the world.

Our full list of 2020 endorsed candidates includes 13 House incumbents, 6 House challengers, 2 Senate incumbents, and 3 Senate challengers. Foreign Policy for America also endorsed Joe Biden for President. Our candidates come from across the country and represent very different districts. They have devoted their lives to public service, serving as diplomats, military service members, intelligence officers, and aid workers. Each one is committed to restoring diplomacy-first foreign policy.

With a global pandemic now devastating American communities, 2020 is shaping up as a referendum on the Trump Administration’s failed leadership. Trump’s xenophobic rhetoric and attacks on our allies have left us isolated and alone.

Now more than ever, voters are choosing leaders with genuine national security expertise, who have committed their lives to public service, and who lead with empathy and devotion to our country’s historic values.

FP4A has endorsed the following Senate and House candidates this cycle: Rep. Colin Allred (TX-32), Rep. Gil Cisneros (CA-39), Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06), Cal Cunningham (NC), Dan Feehan (MN-01), Sara Gideon (ME), Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (PA-06), Sara Jacobs (CA-53), Mark Kelly (AZ), Rep. Andy Kim (NJ-03), Sri Kulkarni (TX-22), Rep. Tom Malinowski (NJ-07), Sen. Ed Markey (MA), Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (FL-26), Gina Ortiz Jones (TX-23), Rep. Max Rose (NY-11), Kate Schroder (OH-01), Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (NH), Rep. Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11), Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI-08), Rep. Xochitl Torres Small (NM-02), Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-07), and Rep. Lauren Underwood (IL-14). The organization has also endorsed Joe Biden for President.
