40 Pro-diplomacy Groups Urge American Lawmakers to Re-enter JCPOA

Washington, DC – Forty national organizations have come together during this pivotal time for American foreign policy to call on our elected officials to re-enter the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA). Under the leadership of the Trump White House, America violated an effective nuclear agreement with Iran in favor of reckless, politically-driven policies that risk leading our country down a path to another disastrous war in the region.

These organizations represent millions of Americans who demand that the United States reclaim its leadership role in the world. By ripping up yet another international agreement and unilaterally reinstating nuclear sanctions on Iran, we risk jump-starting another global nuclear crisis and further alienating America from the rest of the world. We call on current and future leaders to prioritize rejoining the Iran nuclear deal because America, and the world, are safer with it in place.
