Jessica Andrews is a communications specialist with diverse experience in government and media. As Foreign Policy for America’s Communications Director, she works to implement a communications strategy that advances the organization’s agenda, highlights the voices of the FP4A Advisory Board and other issue experts, and raises the profile of the organization. Prior to joining FP4A, Jessica was the Director of Content and Experiences at POLITICO, where she managed relationships with the newsroom and outside speakers to produce POLITICO’s live journalism events and client partnerships, such as Playbook Interviews and the Women Rule Summit. Before POLITICO, Jessica served as the Public Affairs Officer for the Office of the Chief of Protocol at the Department of State during the second term of the Obama Administration. In this role, Jessica worked with media covering international summits and visits, the foreign Diplomatic Corps, and a diverse array of policy issues. Jessica holds a master’s degree in international media from American University and a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Arizona State University.
