Jake majors in International Political Economy and minors in Arabic and Arab Studies at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.  On campus, Jake serves on the board of Prison Outreach, a club that tutors incarcerated people in their GED requirements. Additionally, he works as a research assistant at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies, studying regional displacement crises with a focus on the movements of IDPs in Iraq. During the spring of his junior year, Jake studied Arabic, development economics, and international relations in Amman, Jordan. Before his work with Foreign Policy for America, he interned at an international development-focused nonprofit called Profugo.
