Ivana is an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, majoring in Government & Politics with a concentration in International Relations and a minor in Chinese. Her research mainly focuses on U.S.-China relations and conflict prevention in the Asia-Pacific region. Earlier this year, she worked as a research assistant for Dr. Scott Kastner at the Center for American Politics and Citizenship, and developed an independent study project that analyzes China's economic influence on the sponsorship/co-sponsorship of pro-Taiwan legislation. Ivana also serves as President of the Alpha Zeta Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honors Society at UMD.
